German Shepherd Puppies

Our F-Litter: Hohenburg Ethan x Yuna vom Waldwinkel

Born: 1st August 2020

All puppies are reserved.

We hope that everyone is staying safe during these times!

We are very excited with our next litter with Ethan and Yuna, with superb health results of both parents (best), excellent pedigree, and interesting line breeding that this litter would ultimately produce.

Puppies will be:

  • KC registered with a 5 generation pedigree certificate.
  • Micro-chipped, regularly wormed, four weeks free KC insurance, vet health check (if possible, covid-19) and puppy food & puppy pack.
  • Weaned to Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy

This breeding is from 100% German Working Line German Shepherd Dogs. We expect predominantly sable/dark sable puppies with a possibility of black & tan.

They will be suitable for any working discipline or active family homes that will provide them with mental stimulation, suitable exercise and training.  We also provide additional support and training should you require.

Yuna was imported as a puppy from Germany. It would be easy to say she is special, after all, every dog is special in some way. However, Yuna has proved her quality in trials and competitions in the UK & abroad. Her bloodline, from the kennel Waldwinkel, is one of the most renowned kennels in Germany with numerous dogs in service, military, and national competition. Yuna’s father was a licenced German military service dog, now 12 years old.

Health tests:

  • HD/ED normal (German system): hips & elbows x-rayed with best possible result.
  • Degenerative Myelopathy – Clear (N/N)

Yuna’s achievements in IGP (International Working Dog Trials):

  • 1st Place UK FCI All Breed National Champion

Breeding predisposition test

Ethan has passed breed the “Breeding predisposition test” (Zuchtanlagenprüfung/Wesensbeurteilung – ZAP test) on 9th February 2020. This ZAP test is a character judgement by a certified judge to assess various aspects of breedings dogs.  The assertions and requirements covered by the character judgement are principally designed to prove the dogs are environmentally sound and socially friendly.

Character judgements include: Handling by strangers and comfortable being touched by other people, social behaviour with individuals and groups, noise sensitivity (gun fire, noisy engine), environmental movement walking on tables and uneven surfaces, play and prey drive, and nature in isolation.

The character assessment is a requirement for breeding for all dogs born as of July 1, 2017 in Germany ONLY (SV).
